PCB circuit layout design. The weight of the LED display box affects the size of the power supply, so the PCB board design needs to be minimized, so there are many factors to consider. The selection and distribution of heating elements are particularly important to avoid local temperature rise. Component selection. High temperature conditions will cause some components to drift, which may shorten the service life. Therefore, the equipment must be selected to be able to work at high temperatures for a long time, such as electrolytic capacitors, wires, etc.
Electrical performance design. The LED display power supply is mainly designed for constant current parameters. The magnitude of the current determines the brightness of the LED display. If the current error of the same batch of screens is large, the brightness of the screen is uneven. And the temperature change will cause the output current of the power supply to shift. The error must be controlled with the project display to ensure the same screen brightness.
Power design. Although LED lighting is highly efficient, there is still nearly 80% of thermal energy loss, which causes the module and cabinet temperature to rise. Under normal temperature conditions, the LED display installed in the room will reach 50 degrees inside the cabinet, and the power supply will be at high temperature for a long time To work under the environment, the power headroom must be increased to ensure the life.
Drive circuit. There are two types of commonly used LED drivers: digital and analog drivers. Digital drivers refer to digital circuit drivers, including digital dimming control, RGB full-color changes, and so on. Analog drive refers to analog circuit drive, including AC constant current switching power supply and DC constant current control circuit. The driving circuit is composed of electronic components, including semiconductor components, resistors, capacitors, inductors, etc. These components have a service life. Failure of any one device will cause some or the entire circuit to fail. The service life of LED lamp beads is about 7 years, and the service life of the power supply is basically 2 years. Therefore, it is often the driving circuit failure of the LED display box.
Power selection. LED display manufacturers mainly look at constant current and constant current voltage range when ordering power. The constant current value is selected to be lower than the standard current of the LED lamp beads, and the voltage range should be selected to be moderate.
Box heat dissipation. The LED display is a cold light source, and the operating junction temperature cannot exceed the limit. The design of the cabinet should consider the beautiful appearance, convenient installation, picture quality, and heat dissipation of the cabinet, so that the products produced can win customer satisfaction. LED display screen has not been developed for a long time, and the technical experience is not perfect, so there is not much technical knowledge that can be borrowed.
